History

Someshwar Jariwala (1901 - 1958): Founder /owner of Navbharat Mills who commenced this establishment as a Zari (gold embroidery) manufacturer and an industrialist in Surat soon after India’s independence.

Vinu Jariwala (1933 - 2015): A well admired humanitarian who inherited the Zari business and converted it into a weaving hub for various textile qualities. A generous entrepreneur and educationist who was well known for his philanthropy.

Prayag Jariwala: Current owner/ chief operator of Navbharat Silk who adhered to his family’s lineage of textile manufacturing. His insight and farsightedness took this family enterprise to new heights. As of now, his knowledge and grip on textile manufacturing has made Navbharat Silk the most sought-after enterprise for premium silk fabrics.
